German embassy damaged in Kabul blast
At least two people were killed Saturday morning after a suicide bomb exploded near the German embassy in Kabul, a Defense Ministry spokesman said.

One of the dead was a child, said Gen. Mohammed Zaher Azimi. He said another 23 people were wounded, four of them seriously.
Azimi’s figure contradicts a report from the Interior Ministry soon after the blast that seven people were killed.
