Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said that despite President Bush’s low approval ratings, people will soon "start to thank this president for what he’s done."

"So we can sit here and talk about the long record, but what I would say to you is that this president has faced tougher circumstances than perhaps at any time since the end of World War II, and he has delivered policies that are going to stand the test of time," Rice said in an interview that aired on CBS’ "Sunday Morning."
The secretary of state brushed off reports that suggest the United States’ image is suffering abroad. She praised the administration’s ability to change the conversation in the Middle East.

  2. You’ve got to be kidding me! Who would ever thank this worthless criminal and his administration for destroying our country? Only the brain-dead white trash on the right!

  4. Thank Bush? For what? Leaving us with two wars, one completely unnecessary, costing perhaps a trillion dollars, the other sinking into failure? Or our lost civil rights? Or our lost opportuinity to deal with climate catastrophe? Or our lost opportunity to start energy independence, and independence from fossil fuels? Or the ruthless degradation of the environment? Or the Soviet style hushing of science that didn’t walk the party line? Or the complete incivility in governance, the stonewalling and spinning and lost e-mails and…? Or the blurring of church and state? Or the rupture of our reputation around the world? What exactly should we thank him (and Rice) for?

  10. What else can she say?… she’s been part of every mistake this administration has made. On the other hand, she’s right, even Hitler had people thanking him for all he did but that did not make it right. At least 25% of americans are going to thank him.

  14. What I don’t understand is why the American voters voted him in the last time. I mean, the job he done up until the last election was piss poor anyway, so why did voters think he was gonna get any better?

Don’t blame Bush for the crap job he’s done, blame the voters who voted him in!!

Rice was only good for making coffee.
