Why Is It Legal For Correction Officers And Cops To Rape Teen Girls In State Prison?


When I was locked up at 14 in York prison in Niantic CT every week I was raped and I was told by the Correction officers it was legal. I got off 6 months ago after serving 5 years. I talked to DCF, Connecticut State police and they said there is nothing they can do. I told the local news and they told me they did not do story's on something as common as rape in prison.

So why is rape in prison legal are Cops and prison officials above the law? What are the prisons going to do with the people they release that plan on Blowing up the prison or City for Justice?

President Obama says the current health care system is broken and needs immediate changes.Obama: No reduced Medicare benefits in health care reform
President Obama tried Tuesday to alleviate senior citizens’ concerns about health care reform, saying his plan will maintain Medicare benefits and allow people to keep the coverage and doctors they now have.

At a town hall teleconference organized by AARP, the nation’s largest senior-citizen advocacy group, Obama said the goal of reform is to end waste and inefficiency in a system that provides poor value and threatens to drain the federal budget.
"The more we can reduce those unnecessary costs in health care, the more money we have to provide people with the necessary care," Obama said. "This is pretty straightforward, it’s pretty logical."

Dr. John Di Saia was playing baseball with his son a few weeks ago, and just as he rounded second base, he tumbled to the ground, breaking his fall with his elbow.

"Guess I shouldn’t have been running in flip-flops," says Di Saia. At first he didn’t think much of the injury, but as it became more painful, he showed it to a colleague, who told him he’d ruptured his triceps tendon. "He said I needed surgery immediately."
One problem: Di Saia, a plastic surgeon in San Clemente, California, didn’t have health insurance; he’d ended one policy a few weeks before and was about to start a new one. "It’s pretty embarrasing when you’re a physician and you say you don’t have health insurance. They think you’re some kind of an idiot," he says.

A new report says a half-built prison in Khan Bani Saad, Iraq, will probably never be used.Iraq reconstruction history details waste, failures
Iraqis in Diyala province sarcastically call it "the whale."

The "skeletal, half-built" shell of a maximum-security prison in Khan Bani Saad "will probably never house an inmate" even though the United States spent $40 million on the now-halted $73 million project.
Marred by "poor security and weak subcontractor performance," the project is among several examples of Iraqi rebuilding problems cited in a just-published history by the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction.

The recession may be coming to a zoo near you. State budget cuts mean many zoos, aquariums and botanical gardens will lose crucial state funding for their exhibits. New York’s 76 zoos, aquariums and botanical gardens will lose $9.1 million in state funds next year.
"We’re faced with this very difficult problem of firing the animals, as it were," said Steve Sanderson, the CEO of the Wildlife Conservation Society, which manages the Bronx Zoo and the New York Aquarium. They will lose $3 million to budget cuts.
