What Have I Done? My Husband Was Arrested For An Unintentional, Stupid Accident And We Are Being Torn Apart.


But is it really an assault if it was an accident? I slapped him in bed when he called me a name after he came home drunk. He pushed me off him; I hit the floor. My back was hurting so I went to the doctor. In my upset state I told them what happened and now he has been arrested and faces criminal assault charges. I feel terrible, his job is at risk, my ex says he will go for full custody if our kids are ever in the same home as my husband. The one thing my husband has told our respective children is "never,never hit," and now we are living a nightmare. I respect & admire the intent of domestic laws/procedures, but I feel swept up in the good intentions of others and helpless over this first time event. I told them I did not want charges to be in place, but the county prosecutor told me they would not drop charges. This entire situation is a nightmare, and our pastor tells me there is hope. Is there? Is our family going to be ripped apart as I am going to choose my children if pressed.

I love how the kids dance and sing about health care reform on a News Network. it's entertaining and helped me understand completely what health care reform is all about. I hope they make a school house rock version next and CNN can show it because this is some great news!
I like how the kid "Willie" opposes health care reform to the news reporter, then jumps in song and dance that's in favor of health care reform. As if he never disagreed in the first place.

As Sarah Palin handed over the Alaska governorship this weekend, the wear, tear and resentments of a year on the big stage were evident for the former GOP vice presidential candidate.

Her parting words Sunday included a parting shot at the media:
"So how about in honor of the American soldier, you quit making up things. And don’t underestimate the wisdom of the people. And one other thing for the media — our new governor has a very nice family, too, so leave his kids alone," she said as she handed off power to Sean Parnell, the lieutenant governor.
