The National Organization for Women’s New York chapter called for embattled Gov. David Paterson’s resignation Tuesday after a report alleging that he asked two staff members to call a woman who accused a governor’s aide of assault.

Does New York Governor David Paterson Require Additional Assistance To Perform His Job?
Most people know that New York Governor David Paterson is legally blind. Since he became governor, I have always wondered how he was able to do his job with his impairment. This is not to be rude at all: it simply seems like it would be extremely difficult to perform a job with so much paperwork if you couldn't see well.
Does anyone know the extent to which Gov. Paterson is blind? Can he still read? Does he have bills translated into Braille? Or does he have someone read them to him? I'm curious, because it must be tough.
