The administration will miss its deadline to submit a report detailing its policy on detaining terror suspects.Deadline missed for policy on detaining terror suspects
In a move already drawing fire from liberal activists, aides to President Obama acknowledged the administration will miss its own Tuesday deadline to submit a report detailing its policy on detaining terror suspects.

The report is a key part of laying out the White House’s plan for shutting down the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay.
In a briefing for reporters, four senior administration officials confirmed the task force dealing with detention policy has been granted a six-month extension to flesh out its plans. A separate task force dealing with interrogation policy has been given a two-month extension to submit its own report to the president. The reports had been mandated to be completed this week by executive orders the president signed during his first week in office.

Now That Obama Has Ordered Gitmo (Guantanamo Bay) Shut Down?

Where is he putting all of the terrorists who were being held there? I really hope he is not putting them in jails here. So What happens to the Terrorists now that Gitmo has been shut down by Obama? Not saying I agree with torture but I also don't agree with letting known terrorists roam free around America either.
Don't care- I never said that they'd roam free in jail, whose to say they'd go to jail?
Never said they were all guilty either because in all reality we have no clue what they are doing there and unless we all start getting forced into concentration camps I will believe that many of them are there for a reason that we just don't know about. I'd hate to think this is just an excuse to start another Holocaust.
Zealous and Patticha, I agree. We all know by now that the majority of the media is Liberal but Cheney is being indicted for allowing torture to happen at Gitmo. If Obama was going to do anything he should have granted full pardons to Ramas and Compean. I would gain a small amount of respect for him if that had been a priority.

Personal finance expert Suze Orman says Americans must rally behind President Obama and the stimulus package, and together, "we will eventually get through it."

She also says it won’t be easy — that the market could shed another 10 or 20 percent this year. Americans must live within their means, save for their futures and "count every penny," Orman says.
Orman, whose most recent book, "Suze Orman’s 2009 Action Plan," has soared on the charts, spoke with CNN’s Larry King on Monday. Here is a transcript of their conversation, some of which has been edited.
