Will Roethlisberger Case Determine How NFL Personal Conduct Policy Will Go In Future?
I remembered in the Mike Vick case many people were in support of the suspension even before Vick was convicted and even though he had no criminal history. I think that if Roethlisberger is charge, Commissioner Goodell will have to suspend Big Ben indefinitely because a woman claiming that something occurred is enough to warrant a trial and possibly a conviction.
If he is not then Commissioner Goodell will not be able to suspend any other players with same or lesser offenses that have no criminal history. If the commissioner suspends him and the case is dropped or he wins in a court of law then I think this policy will change to punishment only being allowed after a conviction.
