Why Is Obama Not Attending The Copenhagen Climate Summit?

I'm not interested in whether or not Global Warming is real or not, but what are Obama's reasons for not attending the full conference?
Actually the evidence they "hid" was tree ring data which is an old method of measuring yearly temperates (but an inaccurate one at that). While temperatures recorded with thermometres rose in 1960 onwards, tree rings showed a decline. Seeing as the thermometres are the more accurate way of measuring the actual temperature, and you can't deny that, they decided to omit the tree ring data because it was clearly an anomaly with another factor affecting it. Get your facts straight.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton broached the issue of human rights with Chinese leaders Saturday, but emphasized that the world economic and other crises are more pressing and immediate priorities.

"Human rights cannot interfere with the global economic crisis, the global climate change crisis and the security crises," Clinton said in talks with China’s foreign minister.
Clinton made China the last and most crucial stopover in her Asia trip, signaling the new administration’s first attempts to lay a foundation toward a China policy. It is Clinton’s first trip to China as secretary of state.

Why Is Hellary Clinton So Desperate To Become The Secretary Of State? Does She & Ann Lewish Have An Agenda?

Secretary of State

Her supporters are

#1. Ann Lewis, Hillary's advocate, responded:

"The role of the president of the United States is to support the decisions that are made by the people of Israel. It is not up to us to pick and choose from among the political parties."

#2. Abramoff

Hillary Clinton connection with Abramoff + millions of illegal Chinese money was used for the Clinton’s legal defense fund.

#3. Colombia

she's up to her ears in lobbyists for foreign entities—

Bill Clinton met with Colombian President Alvaro Uribe on March 26, 2007, at the 80th birthday party for Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Ten days later, on April 5, ColombiaProExport signed a $40,000 a month contract with the Glover Park Group – a lobbying firm often called "the Clinton White House in exile."

A few weeks later, Penn's firm, Burson MarSteller, signed a $300,000 contract on the Colombia trade deal.

According to one high Colombia official privy to Bill Clinton's private conversations, the former president urged Colombia to shift its focus from GOP legislators to Democrats (who'd taken control of Congress) and then made phone calls to two Democratic congressmen.
How did the Colombians end up hiring lobbying firms with close ties to the Clintons' political operations?

#4. China and Asia

On Feb. 27, 2005, Bill Clinton gave a speech in Taiwan and had dinner with the country's president. On April 15, Glover Park was hired to lobby for the Taiwan Cultural and Economic Minister at $25,000 a month. Before then, it had relied on Republican Bob Dole.
Remember the Dubai Ports deal? Bill Clinton was caught advising the Emir of Dubai on how to handle Congress at the very same time that Hillary was blasting the deal.

Hillary Clinton seeks improved relations with China, where she said the U.S. would renew military contacts.Clinton heads to Asia for first state trip
Hillary Clinton says her first overseas trip to Asia as U.S. secretary of state is aimed at creating a "network of partners" to tackle problems that no nation can deal with alone, including the global economic crisis.

En route to Asia on Sunday, Clinton told reporters that the economy would serve as the backdrop of her trip, and she intends to explain steps the United States is taking with its $787 billion stimulus bill. She said she will be "seeking cooperation on ways that we are going to work through these very difficult economic times."
Clinton is slated to travel to Japan, China, South Korea and Indonesia to discuss a range of issues, including mutual economic recovery, trade, the prevention of nuclear weapons proliferation and reversing the global warming trend.
